School of Agriculture and Animal Scienceshave alivestock farm. This facility is established to impart hands-on training in various animal husbandry practices to Diploma in Agriculture and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students and to serve as a demonstration unit for farmers. The farm animal houses are equipped with a Cattle shed, Poultry Shed and Rabbit unit. The Cattle Shed is conventional barn type of shed with a double-row system. About 30 cattle are accommodated in the cattle shed. The poultry shed is established with a Tiled roof house with open sides, manual feeders and automatic nipple drinkers. This setup can house 200 commercial broilers and 100 commercial layer chicken. The GRI have a rabbit Unit withan asbestos roof house with open sides arranged with Manual feeders and drinkers.
