Profile

Established in the year 1956, the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, strives to produce man power with knowledge and skill in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy Science, and Seed Technology. Its academic, research and extension activities aim at spreading new technologies in Farming, Cattle Management, Seed Production and Preservation. The thrust areas include Indigenous Knowledge, Bio-fuel Promotion, Better Farming and Farm Technology Transfer, Agro-Engineering and Organic Farming and Sustainable Agriculture.
