Profile


The Department of Home Science has been in existence from the inception of the institute in 1956, offering a three year course on Diploma in Rural Services. Later it was replaced as B.Sc. Programme in Home Science in 1976 followed by M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programmes in Home Science.
